Advanced Yoga Teacher Training: 300 hour
Blossom Yoga School’s advanced teacher training is
comprehensive covering Hatha yoga and its subdisciplines in depth.
Overview
Our advanced teacher training is for teachers who have completed a 200-hr Yoga Alliance accredited program. It consists of over 270 contact hours with our full teaching faculty. This program is comprehensive and covers Hatha yoga and its subdisciplines in-depth, including philosophy, energy, asana, functional anatomy, and lifestyle.
We will meet once a month in-person from October 2025 to May 2026 and every other week on zoom for a quick lecture and discussion. We will explore traditional applications of yoga, hands-on assisting, sequencing for different populations, and the energetic aspects of practice, while also diving into yoga philosophy, ethics, and the teacher’s path.
Our journey will culminate in a transformative yoga and Ayurveda retreat in Southern India, where you’ll have the opportunity to experience traditional practices in their cultural and spiritual context, guided by expert teachers.
Are you ready to deepen your knowledge and step into the next phase of your teaching journey?

Frequently Asked Questions
-
No! Many yogis embark on a yoga teacher training to deepen personal practice, expand knowledge, and/or advance personal growth.
-
Not at all. The only requirements are a keen interest in aligning the body, mind, and spirit; a willingness to let go of ego; and an open heart and mind.

Only students who successfully complete the training as determined by the trainers will be eligible for registration with the Yoga Alliance. Being present at training sessions, completing all homework assignments on time, and demonstrating competencies as determined by the trainers are definitely a part of successful completion. If a student foresees being absent or unable to complete an assignment on time, he or she should contact a trainer as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements. And certainly, a student gets out of the training what he or she puts into it. Active engagement during training weekends, participation in modules, and completion of assignments will enrich the experience!

Yes! We want to make the training accessible to a variety of budgets and financial situations. A payment plan of eleven (11) equal payments automatically deducted from your account can be arranged.

Most yogis prefer to provide their own mats when practicing frequently. The mat can become sacred space, an environment in which the yogi can fully explore and enjoy the practice. That said, we do have a small number of mats available to borrow. Blossom will also provide yoga props, such as blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps. Of course, yogis are welcome to bring their own props, if they wish. It’s wise to dress in comfortable layers during training weekends. A water bottle, a pen or pencil, and a notebook are handy. Additionally, anything else you need to be comfortable is welcome: simple snacks, a low-to-the-ground camping-style chair to sit in during lectures.

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of acceptance into the program and registration. The deposit will be applied to tuition. It will not be refunded. Should you choose to terminate your participation in the program, you can receive a full refund (minus the $300 deposit) until 5:00 pm MTN on Monday, October 12, 2020. After that time no refunds will be given.
